A Minute on Something I’m Learning:

Action equals results. About 6 months ago a high school friend who I have not heard from in over a decade reached out to me. He saw some of my social media posts about short term rentals and wanted to ask me a few questions. After I hung up the phone I wondered if he would pull the trigger. A lot of people talk, but don’t take action. Well I got a text from him last week and he asked for feedback on his Airbnb listing that he just bought in Tennessee. I gave him some feedback and he sent me a screenshot of his calendar. Most of the summer is booked up. I was happy. He got his education on social media, went to a conference and took action. Most people forget about the last part.

A Minute on Something I’m Teaching:

Inflation is worse than they are telling us. They just told us 8.9%. I think it is probably closer to 20%. Packages of goods are getting smaller. Quality is getting lower. Inflation is a lot higher. Be happy if you own real estate right now.

A Minute on Something I’m Excited About:

My next short term rental is almost on the market:  a renovated duplex in Lauderdale By the Sea. The reno is done. Staging is almost finished. Pictures are next week. Be on the lookout for some videos on my TikTok account.
