Connection and Community matter more than anything else when it comes to getting people to join anything. I was recently told this by one of my mentors. And it’s true. When someone joins a new organization they may have financial reasons for doing so, but the ultimate reason they do is for a sense of connection and community. Are you building that at your organizations?

The five steps to building a real estate business. This is coming out soon in a YouTube series on my personal channel, but here they are:
1- Create value as a solo agent and get 1-2 deals a month.
2- Get some leverage with your first hire which should be an administrative assistant.
3- Get more appointments by hiring an inside sales agent. Get to 4 to 5 deals a month.
4- Start hiring other agents.
5- Hire department leaders and then C-Level executives.

It didn’t matter much when I started a decade ago. It matters even less today. The branding, marketing and lead generation is all at the team or agent level.
