A Minute on Something I’m Learning:

Print marketing still works. In 2018 we went all in on digital media and our real estate team has tripled our sales volume since then. The rush to digital media continued throughout the beginning of the pandemic, but since then it has left a void in print marketing opportunities that some people are capitalizing on now. On episode 355 of my podcast I covered that topic with Luke Acree, the President of ReminderMedia. You can listen to it here.

A Minute on Something I’m Teaching:

Do you think a recession is coming? If your answer is yes, how do you adjust your investment strategy? I wrote a blog article this week and I discuss my top three options for investing in the market right now. Check out that blog article here.

A Minute on Something I’m Excited About:

In the last week we got 3 of our available condo units under contract. We had 7 available last week and now we are down to just 4 left. We are also starting pre-sales on another project that I expect to be done in another month and the interest level is high.

A Picture Worth Looking at for a Minute

I’ve been out in Oregon the past week for an early summer vacation to Ker’s parents and in addition to catching up with a lot of family I’ve been getting some fun runs in, around farm country. Here is a picture I took while running past a Christmas tree farm.

A Minute Answering One of Your Questions:

This is the part where I answer a question someone has texted me or asked on social media (I answer all Instagram Direct Messages).

“If you had to start all over what would you tell your younger self?”

I got this question from an Instagram DM. I would tell myself to be less concerned with doing what other people think I should be doing and to fail faster. I think the more you can grasp these two concepts the further you will go. First, do not let the expectations of family, friends, teachers or society dictate the path you take. That’s not to say you should not get advice from others. Just don’t get boxed in by it. And second, don’t be afraid of making mistakes. People that can make mistakes quicker, learn quicker. That’s where the magic is made.

Thanks for tuning in this week! If you know someone that would like to be a part of this please share this with them and click here to sign up.
